By accessing or using the Jobo platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jobo ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to work in Australia to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Description of Service
Jobo is a platform that connects contractors and builders with sub-contractors in the Australian trades industry. We facilitate connections between parties but are not a party to any agreement entered into between users of the platform.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Violate any applicable Australian law or regulation
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without our written consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Service are owned by or licensed to Jobo. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the extent permitted by Australian consumer law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
